Buckeye Crunch Time and Big Ten Network SUCKS!

As anyone who follows NCAA Football knows, my beloved Ohio State Buckeyes are currently number one and have been for a couple weeks now. There are two more games and then it’s time for THE game. It’s looking like this week, I get to miss the Wisconsin game because Time Warner is standing up to both the Big Ten and The Big Ten Network. I applaud Time Warner for doing this. Big Ten Network would only be watched by me for about 2-3 months a year….football months. I don’t watch Basketball and from what I understand, the production values on the Big Ten Network suck.

The Big Ten Network is a money grab by both the Big Ten and Fox. Shame on you Big Ten and shame on you Fox. Big Ten Network should be in a premium sports tier. It’s not good enough for regular cable.

Blah…..OSU Football and Big Ten Network and Other Crap

As we all know, it’s football season.  Well, this is the second week in a row I can’t watch my Buckeyes!  Big Ten network still hasn’t finished the negotiations.  So unless I find a cheap place to go that isn’t a bar, well I have to listen to the radio.   At least next week I can see it.

Also, who wants to bet that now that the AP has let schools not in Bowl Football into the rankings that Appalachian  State will be in the top 25 if not the top ten?

Putrid Play by OSU….

All I want to know is what happened?  We deserved to lose.  We looked like a High School team playing a college team.  I have never seen such a horrible performance.  All I want to know is what the hell happened?  We should have beat this team.  This tells me one thing….we need to schedule more SEC teams in our non Big Ten schedule.  Also, it would not surprise me to hear people calling for Tressel’a job.  It’s almost as if they did not practice….at all since Michigan.  Oh well.  See ya next year Buckeyes.

Not looking good…..

Well, I hope I am wrong, but it’s looking like the Buckeyes are going to lose the game.  The score is currently 41-14 and it’s the Fourth Quarter.  We’re playing sloppy.  Florida is dominating the Buckeyes.  Troy Smith is looking less like the Heisman winner and more like the one who lost last year.  I guess it’s remorely possible that they can pop back but I think this is it.  Thanks Jim Tressel for a great season.  When we were pre-season number 1 and ran through the whole season, it had to be a omen….a bad one.

Now, in my opinion, if we do indeed lose and it’s looking that way, then Boise State SHOULD be number 1.   In a really weird College Football season, this really brings outhow horrible the BCS is.  Anyone want a Playoff  system?  I sure do.

OH-IO! National Championship Game in Progress

Now in the first quarter, the Buckeys and Gators are tied 7-7.  Can you believe that first touchdown by the bucks??  See if we can do it again! W00t!
