Bashpodder Rocking the 770…
January 1, 2007
I played around with Bashpodder on the 770. Linc’s got a post here.
It’s pretty simple to get working on the 770.
- Install wget.
- Setup your bp.conf on the 770 or copy your bp.conf from another machine you have used or do use bashpodder on. Also copy the podcast.log.
- Edit the bashpodder script and swap out the bash with sh.
- Run it from Xterm with: sh bashpodder.shell.
Make sure you have a swap file setup and do this before you go to bed and any podcasts that are new will be downloaded right on the 770. Nice.
